How to install and pair
- Install LinkMyMac on Android from the Play Store.
- Download LinkMyDroid for Mac or iPad from the Apple App Store.
- Open LinkMyDroid on Mac or iPad to show the QR code.
- Open LinkMyMac on Android and scan the QR code to pair.
- After pairing, devices reconnect automatically when both apps are open.
Desktop and iPad downloads
Android, Mac, and iPad now have public store downloads linked from the site.
Download LinkMyDroid for Apple devices from the Apple App Store. If you hit compatibility issues on a specific Mac or iPad, contact support@linkmymac.com.
Quick answers before you install
Does it need a cloud account? No. Devices connect directly.
Does it work over USB? Yes. USB and Wi-Fi are both supported.
Can I use it on iPad? Yes, for clipboard, file transfer, photos, messages, notifications, contacts, and Wi-Fi Direct workflows.
Where do transferred files go? Received files land in the destination device's download area.
